Welcome to Rodz Automotive. By using our website or booking a service with us, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. About Us

1.1. Rodz Automotive is an automotive service and repair business operating in Frankston, Victoria, Australia.

1.2. We provide car servicing, mechanical repairs, brake service, tyre fitting, vehicle diagnostics, and pre-purchase inspections.

1.3. Our workshop is operated by Rodz Limited (ABN to be confirmed). Any references to “we”, “us”, or “our” refer to Rodz Automotive.

2. Bookings and Appointments

2.1. Bookings can be made online via our website or by contacting us directly by phone or email.

2.2. We will make every effort to honour your scheduled appointment time. In the event of unforeseen circumstances, we will contact you as soon as possible to arrange an alternative.

2.3. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance. Repeated no-shows may result in a booking deposit being required for future appointments.

2.4. By booking a service, you authorise Rodz Automotive to carry out the agreed work on your vehicle.

3. Quotes and Authorisation

3.1. All quotes provided are estimates based on the information available at the time. Final pricing may vary if additional faults or required work are identified during the service.

3.2. We will always contact you before proceeding with any work beyond the original scope. No additional work will be carried out without your explicit approval.

3.3. Verbal or written authorisation from the vehicle owner or their authorised representative is required before work commences.

4. Pricing and Payment

4.1. All prices are in Australian dollars (AUD) and include GST where applicable.

4.2. Payment is due upon completion of the service unless a prior arrangement has been made.

4.3. We accept cash, card, and other payment methods as displayed at our workshop.

4.4. Rodz Automotive reserves the right to retain possession of a vehicle until payment has been made in full.

5. New Customer Discount

5.1. The 25% new customer discount applies to the labour component of your first standard service only, unless otherwise stated.

5.2. This offer is available to first-time customers only and cannot be combined with any other offer or discount.

5.3. Rodz Automotive reserves the right to withdraw or modify this offer at any time.

6. Warranty on Work

6.1. All parts and labour are covered by a warranty in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.

6.2. Warranty claims must be made promptly and the vehicle returned to our workshop for inspection.

6.3. Warranty does not apply where damage has occurred due to misuse, accident, or work carried out by a third party after our service.

6.4. Parts supplied by the customer are not covered under our workmanship warranty.

7. Customer Vehicles and Property

7.1. Rodz Automotive takes reasonable care of all vehicles left in our possession. However, we are not liable for pre-existing damage or faults not related to the work carried out.

7.2. We are not responsible for personal items left in the vehicle. Please remove all valuables before dropping your vehicle off.

7.3. Vehicles left uncollected for more than 14 days after notification of completion may incur storage fees.

8. Limitation of Liability

8.1. To the extent permitted by law, Rodz Automotive’s liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the cost of the service provided.

8.2. We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, or special damages arising from the use or inability to use your vehicle following a service.

8.3. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law.

9. Privacy

9.1. We collect personal information (such as your name, contact details, and vehicle information) to deliver our services and communicate with you.

9.2. We will not share your personal information with third parties except where required to complete a service (e.g. parts suppliers) or where required by law.

10. Website Use

10.1. The content on this website is provided for general information purposes only and is subject to change without notice.

10.2. We make no warranties regarding the accuracy or completeness of information on this website.
